- For Monday: Grocery Store - identify a single selection from the five following categories and copy down the ingredients/take a picture. Ask the butcher/fishmonger/manager about the products there and ask about things like organic, genetically modified (gmo), free range, local, wild caught, farmaised etc. See what they have to say.
Categories:
1) Freezer- Frozen prepared meal vs. Organic frozen prepared meal
2) Fish Department - Wild Caught vs. Farm Raised (look at the color of the salmon)
3) Prepared Food - (hamburger helper, spaghettios, lunchables, etc)
4) Fruit and vegetables - organic/local vs. non organic
5) Snacks - (slim jims, pop tarts, doritos, etc)
Be prepared to present your findings/pictures on Monday
